ISO Certification

Texas Nameplate is certified under international standards. ISO 9001 is concerned with quality management which includes fulfilling the customer's quality requirements and applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve continual improvement. ISO 14001 is primarily concerned with what the organization does to minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by its activities, and continually improve its environmental performance. UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Authorized Supplier

After March 31, 2003, labels using Underwriters Laboratories marks must be purchased exclusively from label suppliers participating in the new Authorized Label Suppliers Program, according to an official UL letter dated January 31, 2003. Texas Nameplate is a participating supplier and is listed on UL's new Online Directory.

Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Recipient

Texas Nameplate has twice been awarded (1998 and 2004) the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

• Quality Texas Foundation 
  A non-profit corporation established in 1994 to administer the Texas Award for Performance Excellence. Patterned after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Texas Award is an annual recognition of those Texas organizations that excel in performance, quality, and customer satisfaction. Texas Nameplate is a 1996 recipient of the Texas Award for Performance Excellence.
