What processes does Texas Nameplate use to manufacture nameplates?

What is the standard depth of your etch?
Our standard depth of etch is 0.0015 to 0.003 inches.

Does Texas Nameplate do multi-color processing?
Yes, we handle multi-color processing requirements.

What art formats can Texas Nameplate work with?
We work with a wide variety of standard art formats. Please contact us if you are using a format that is not listed under our artwork guidelines.

Can I request a personal visit from Sales to discuss my nameplate requirements? Can I schedule a visit to Texas Nameplate’s facilities?
Yes. We can arrange for a salesperson to visit your company or for you to visit our facilities. You can also call us or send your requirements via email or fax.

Ordering Information

Are there minimum piece requirements for my order?
Texas Nameplate has no minimum piece requirements. In fact, we specialize in small-piece, custom-designed orders to meet your specifications and time frames.

Is Texas Nameplate capable of processing a “first article?”
Yes, we undertake “first article” processing and have a proven track record for successfully accomplishing all the tasks involved.

Does Texas Nameplate do color matching and, if so, how?
Yes, we color match to standard/coded Pantone colors.

Can I get nameplate samples before I place an order?
Texas Nameplate will be happy to send you samples of various types of nameplates for your consideration.

Does Texas Nameplate have a price sheet?
We don’t have a standard price sheet as each job is customized and individually priced.

Can Texas Nameplate accept orders and ship products to countries outside the US?
Texas Nameplate Company does business with customers in Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Does Texas Nameplate meet NAFTA and CSA requirements?
Yes.

Customer Service

What is the Texas Nameplate guarantee?
At Texas Nameplate, we are serious about customer satisfaction and offer you a 100%guarantee. We will deliver your order free of any defects and on time, or we will supply your order free of charge.

What is the standard lead time for orders?
Our standard lead time on orders is 5-10 days. The delivery period begins the day we receive clear, legible specifications along with a detailed order form. While our standard lead times of 5 -10 days meets the requirements of most customers, we will be happy to expedite your order if possible.

Does Texas Nameplate carry nameplates in stock?
We make custom nameplates and do not carry nameplates in stock. However, special arrangements can be made to carry your nameplates in our inventory.

Military Standard

What MIL standards can Texas Nameplate products meet?
Our nameplates, industrial name plates and custom labels can be manufactured to meet GG-P-455, MIL-P-514, MIL-P-15024D and MIL-P-19834B standards.

What military alloys are used by Texas Nameplate?
We use military alloys such as 1100, 1145, 5052 and 6061 to meet military/government requirements.
