A long time ago...
1940
WORLD WAR II BROUGHT A NEW DEMAND
World War II demand for military defense equipment such as tanks, trucks, airplanes and other heavy equipment and the need for durable metal nameplates was born.
1946
Texas Nameplate Co. Founded
Texas Nameplate Company, Inc. was founded by partners Roy Crownover, Tom Hampton and Wallace Steineger. The first official price list was created.
1954
TNC’s First Delivery Truck
Texas Nameplate Company takes ownership of their very first delivery truck this year.
1970
Roy’s son Dale Starts Working Full-time at TNC
Roy’s youngest son Dale Crownover starts working full-time at Texas Nameplate Company.
1988
Awarded Dallas’ Blue Thumb for Water Quality
Texas Nameplate Company was awarded the Dallas Blue Thumb Award for their water quality.
2015
Design / Install patent pending iScrubber™
